A partial hardening has fallen upon the Jewish people whom God chose in Genesis. Despite this, Paul wrote in Romans 11 that "from the standpoint of God's choice they are beloved for the sake of the fathers; for the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable." Our very salvation "is from the Jews" (John 4:22) — and God tells us their eventual acceptance of Jesus as Messiah will be so earth shattering as to bring "life from the dead" (Romans 11:15). Our nation needs God, and God promises that those who bless Israel, the land our salvation came from, will secure blessing from Him (Genesis 12:3). Spread by the sword, Islam quickly took over two thirds of the West. It first set its sights on Jerusalem, and upon taking the Holy Land, grasped for the entirety of Western Christendom. The people of the covenants — Jews and Christians both — still languish under the heavy crescent of Muhammad: dying in greater numbers than history has ever seen. In the remains of Western civilization, Islam once again advances. True to its first incursion into the West, it once more takes aim at God's people by attacking God's land of Israel.
